Mount Kilimanjaro, the Rooftop of Africa is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world, with its highest peak Kibo standing at an impressive 5895 metres. Though its size is immense, it also has one of the world's most accessible peaks. Enjoy diverse landscapes as you ascend through five cultivation zones and be inspired as you look out among endless vistas.  You will leave Tanzania with incredible memories and a sense of accomplishment to last a lifetime.

Kilimanjaro

The climb is not technical but simply requires basic fitness, a positive mental attitude, and perseverance.

Mt.Meru

Affectionately known as Mt. Kilimanjaro's little sister, this is a great practice mountain or for those who have less time as it can be done in 3-4 days.

 

 An armed ranger will escort your group as you are far more likely to encounter natural wildlife as it is located in the heart of Arusha National Park. 

 

Considered a bit more adventurous for thrill seekers with it's sharp edges. Your trek  ascends along the dramatic rim of the crater and you sleep in huts each night.

Ol Doinyo Lengai

Meaning "Mountain of God" in Maasai, this active volcano is the right fit for those up for a much more challenging adventure. 

​

This trek compliments a visit to the beautiful Lake Natron region known for it's mass populations of flamingo.  After your hard work you will be rewarded with relaxation in an oasis of a birder's paradise.

 

While the trek can be done in a single day it is far more steep with loose volcanic ash and sand and only recommended for highly experienced trekkers with great physical endurance.
